The Ann Arbor Art Fair, Seasonal Attraction of the Summer!
Seasoned art enthusiasts and novice collectors alike will be flocking to the Ann Arbor Art Fair, July 19 – 22 to experience original works, street performances, and more right in the heart of the city. This will be the event’s 60th year, cementing it as a Michigan tradition that attracts over half a million people from the United States and Canada. It’s currently the nation’s largest juried art fair.
This event is not just known for its quality, but it’s diversity in art forms guests can experience. Visual artists line the streets showcasing their work in ceramics, glass, metalwork, canvas and more. There are three different stages, so even those with the pickiest of musical tastes can find an act they enjoy.
With four different Art fairs in this event, there is something for everyone. Whether it be The Original Ann Arbor Street Fair, the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair, the State Street Fair, or Ann Arbor’s South University Fair, don’t miss out on the huge amounts of art that will be shown off, as well as art that you can make at the Art Activity Zone.
If you get hungry or thirsty, there are multiple food courts scattered across the event, with Pure Leaf providing refreshing non-caffeinated teas, and The Cookie Dough Café making an appearance with their tasting truck for FREE Cookie Dough.
And don’t miss out on many of the artists providing a wide range of works, which include ceramic, glass, metal, wood, and many more!
